A Message To Our Patients Regarding COVID-19
At Healthy Chelsea Dental, the health and safety of our patients, families, and employees are of utmost importance.
To ensure the health of our patients and staff, we’re closely following updates on the COVID-19 virus and the CDC recommendations for healthcare offices. Our practice is following universal precautions in our operatories and office by using:
- UV light
- Satim Sanitizer
- Ultra Fine HEPA Filters
- High Volume HEPA Filters
Additionally, every half hour to an hour, we wipe down the waiting room and common spaces with disinfectant.
Mandatory Precautions
For the protection of all our patients and staff due to the recent outbreak of coronavirus, we’re requesting that you comply with the following request.
If you have an illness or are exhibiting any symptoms, we ask that you cancel and reschedule your dental appointment. Some illness and symptoms include:
- A cold or the flu
- Fever or nausea
- Severe headaches or body aches
- Muscle or stomach pain, chest pain, or difficulty breathing
- Vomiting or diarrhea
- Active tuberculosis (TB)
- Mumps, measles, chickenpox
- Other contagious diseases
Please notify our staff before your appointment if you or someone you’re in close contact with have recently traveled to one of the countries with large outbreaks of COVID-19 (ex. China, Italy, Iran, South Korea), or if you’ve been exposed to someone else who was diagnosed with COVID-19 or quarantined as a precaution.

Yes! Our employees are taking their temperatures before coming into our office and wearing masks at all times. We sanitize all items touched by our staff that you may come in contact with, such as your credit card. To further protect everyone in our office, we wipe down the waiting room and common spaces with disinfectant every half hour.
We have adopted several new items in our office to serve as safeguards against the spread of COVID-19. We use several new air filtration systems including Ultra Fine HEPA Filters, High Volume HEPA Filters, and UV light. For your convenience, we also have Satim Sanitizer at our front door for patients and staff to use.
